Saudi and US leaders talk about tackling climate change

Speaking outside the Saudi Green Initiative Forum, Al-Jubeir and Kerry discuss the Kingdom's environmental initiatives.

Adel Al-Jubeir, the Saudi Arabian minister of state for foreign affairs, met with John Kerry, the US ambassador for climate change, on Sunday outside the Saudi Green Initiative Forum, which is taking place in the Saudi capital of Riyadh.

They talked about the Kingdom's endeavours to protect the environment and the earth during the meeting. They also addressed the Kingdom's efforts to combat climate change.

The two parties also talked on regional and global trends of shared interest, according to the foreign ministry of the Kingdom.
